Essential Oil Vapor Disks

I chose a very simple recipe of 3 cups of baking soda and 1 cup of water.

Steps:

> Mix the baking soda and water together in a bowl until it makes a paste.
> Scoop it up and plop it down in a muffin tin.   I used 2 silicone muffin pans so I did not have to use liners, but  I have seen others use regular pans with liners.   You can half the recipe for one pan if you like.
> I left the pans out on the counter for an hour and then left them in my oven overnight.   My oven is super old and avocado green if that tells you anything, but the awesome thing about it is the pilot light is always on so it  is constantly about 115 degrees, perfect for drying items!  Or you can leave them out until you are sure they are dry.
> The last step is to add 10 to 12 drops of your favorite essential oil (per disk).   I used Peppermint, Tangerine, and Eucalyptus.

The disks keep best if you save them in an airtight container.   I plan to share some of these with my friends! In March, I’m going to try making a homemade heating pad that smells great with essential oils.
